<h1><strong>Prevention of Caste Based Discrimination</strong></h1>
<p>
In line with the notification dated 22 June,2021 from the Registrar, Pt B.D Sharma UHS regarding the prevention of caste based discrimination. Prem Institute of Medical Science hereby places on record its commitment to strive towards preventing caste based discrimination in all its academic activities.
</p>
<strong style="color:cornflowerblue">Specifically, Management is committed to the following aspects:</strong>
<ol>
<li>The Officials/Faculty members will refrain from any act of discrimination against SC/ST students/staff on grounds of their social origin.</li>
<li>Anybody who experiences or comes to know of any caste based discrimination in the College is requested to immediately bring it to the notice of the Committee.</li>
<li>complaints can be lodged using the link <a href="https://pimsharyana.in/">pimsharyana.in</a></li>
<li>Complaints can also be lodged using the complaint register maintained at the Office of the Chief Administrator.</li>
<li>The Officials/Faculty will not indulge in any kind of discrimination against any community or category of students/staff.</li>
<li>PIMS has constituted a Committee to prevent Caste-based discrimination, with the following members:-</li>

<p>The above Committee will meet as and when required and review all the complaints received and suggest remedial measures.</p>
<p>
Any kind of discrimination on the basis of caste, creed, religion, language, ethnicity, gender or disability (Under Prevention, Prohibition and Redresser Act) is strictly prohibited in Prem Institute of Medical Science will be very sensitive while dealing with incidents of caste discrimination and strict action will be taken against such cases. The Officials/faculty members should also desist from any act of discrimination against SC/ST students on grounds of their social origin.
